At the request of the Artist the performance was not to be recorded or photographed in line with the true essence of performance Art. However, there are five pictures of the piece including the one above.
Hair Peace (Pilose II)
"Hair Peace" was performed by Andrew Webb on 11th of May, 2002. Beginning at the apartment of the Artist, he walked the streets of St. Gillis, Bruxelles to the local cafe, through the closing market on the Parvis, Ending up in the exhibition "No More
Patacycliste Anymore" taking place in 'The Maison Du Peuple'. The exhibition was organized by Brussels based artists 'Dialogist-Kantor' as part of the larger show 'Mobiles', curated by Denis Gielen, which ran from 4th of May to the 19th.
The placard carried by the Artist was a reconstruction of one seen in the film of John Lennon and Yoko Ono during their 'Bed-In', filmed in Amsterdam in March, 1969. On the reverse was written "To Pay". The object was signed and dated "Pilose II", 2002.
